Suited to lighter-weight parts

Step feeders lift components onto a linear feeder, where they are orientated and discharged in a controlled single-file output. Incorrectly oriented parts are automatically returned to the hopper for recirculation, ensuring reliable and consistent feeding performance.

Often selected over vibratory bowl feeders, step feeders offer larger hopper storage capacities and lower operating noise.

Step feeder systems are frequently paired with escapements to present the required number of parts in position, or with blow-feed systems to transfer components directly into the assembly area.
